Number 1. Poetry. In particular, this piece I just watched performed by Derrick Brown. It never ceases to astound me how words can move us like that.
Number 2. This NPR story about how a man responds (unconventionally) to his mugger. There are many wonderful people in the world; I love being reminded of that.
