I had a sudden realization today

that I've been neglecting one of my childhood aspirations: to be a published writer.

It almost happened at Utah State once, this paper I wrote was nearly published in a supplementary English textbook.
And now I feel like I need to do something about it, start writing short stories or poetry again or anything.

So I'm going to start channeling Anne Lamott's Bird by Bird (I talked about it previously here, here and here and I highly recommend), reading more and writing more.
